Unfortunately, closing our doors means that our hard-working staff are now out of work. As tipped workers our staff now face the uncertainty of being able pay their bills and keep their heads above water. South Philadelphia Tap Room has been part of the community for 17 years and so have our dedicated employees. We are more than just a neighborhood bar to many of our customers. We have been fortunate enough to share many of the milestones in our community and in our customers lives. Now we are asking for your help and support.
100% of the funds collected will be used to help bring some relief to our staff. Thank you for anything you are able to contribute.

“Few gastropubs have shown the magnetic power of a great beer list quite as much as the South Philadelphia Taproom. Its 14 fresh taps and 70-bottle list are enough to draw beer fans from far and wide.” – Craig LaBan
“One of the best Happy Hour menu’s in South Philly, if the building doesn’t draw you in their rotating menu will. They also have one of the best burgers on this side of Broad Street, & the Wild Boar Tacos are unmatched. Their Hibiscus Margarita is my go-to, but they have other awesome options for beer tasters.”
– Liz C., Yelp
“A quirky menu that includes thoughtful options like wild-boar tacos and a huge rotating tap list of hipster beers make this Point Breeze pub a great date place and neighborhood drop-in; the knowledgeable staff and cozy dining room lend a comfortable vibe to the experience.”
“Went here before a Phillies game and enjoyed a nice meal with excellent happy hour specials. I had Wild Boar Tacos as an appetizer, fish and chips, good nitro stout called “Carton of Milk” with Peanut Butter and Jelly deep for dessert. Great local place that symbolizes what is great about the City of Brotherly Love”
